GOVERNORS, SENATORS, GENERALS, MUSICIANS, TV STARS, SUPPORT TOMORROW’S DEBELLA VETERANS RADIOTHON
Senator Arlen Specter, Jimmy Fallon, Frank Calando, Sean William Scott, Jesse James, Mark Paul Gosselaar, congressmen Joe Sestak and former Governor Jesse Ventura have all thrown their support behind the 3rd Annual John DeBella Veterans Radiothon by calling John DeBella during his show over the past 2 weeks. The 3rd Annual DeBella Veterans’ Radiothon will be broadcast live from outside the National Constitution Center (6th + Arch St) tomorrow, June 12th (6a-6p).
The main goal of the Radiothon will be to raise funds for Philadelphia Veterans Multi-Service & Education Center (PVMSEC) to help them address the multiple needs of veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as those from the Vietnam and Persian Gulf wars. 36% of the Veterans in the (PVMSEC’s) homeless Veterans training program are men and women returning from Iraq/Afghanistan. 17% of the Veterans in the transitional living programs are also men and women returning from Iraq/Afghanistan.
