GOVERNORS, SENATORS, GENERALS, MUSICIANS, TV STARS, SUPPORT TOMORROW’S DEBELLA VETERANS RADIOTHON

Senator Arlen Specter, Jimmy Fallon, Frank Calando, Sean William Scott, Jesse James, Mark Paul Gosselaar, congressmen Joe Sestak and former Governor Jesse Ventura have all thrown their support behind the 3rd Annual John DeBella Veterans Radiothon by calling John DeBella during his show over the past 2 weeks. The 3rd Annual DeBella Veterans’ Radiothon will be broadcast live from outside the National Constitution Center (6th + Arch St) tomorrow, June 12th (6a-6p).

The main goal of the Radiothon will be to raise funds for Philadelphia Veterans Multi-Service & Education Center (PVMSEC) to help them address the multiple needs of veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as those from the Vietnam and Persian Gulf wars. 36% of the Veterans in the (PVMSEC’s) homeless Veterans training program are men and women returning from Iraq/Afghanistan. 17% of the Veterans in the transitional living programs are also men and women returning from Iraq/Afghanistan.

Those interested in making donations on June 12 can do so by calling 1800-678-WMGK, by making a donation at wmgk.com, or by stopping by the live broadcast.

Comedian Jake Johannson- 12:05; Phillies’ Chris Coste – 2pm; The Machine (Pink Floyd Tribute Band) will play 3 songs acoustic - 3pm

The following guests will be calling in during tomorrow’s Radiothon:
General Colin Powell, Governor Ed Rendell, Kyra Phillips (CNN), Congressman Joe Sestak, Bill Engvall, Billy Bob Thornton

Prizes will be awarded to the person making the highest donation by phone that hour. Prizes include: Front row tickets & roundtrip limo to Billy Joel/Elton John at CBP; Dinner for 4 at Barclay Prime; tickets, meet & greet, roundtrip limo to Late Night w/ Jimmy Fallon; V.I.P. Access Tour of U.S. Capitol w/ lunch in private Senate Dining Room; dinner w/ Jon Runyan; autographed guitars from Spinal Tap, Rick Nielson (Cheap Trick), Gene Simmons & Paul Stanley (Kiss); framed limited edition silkscreen of John Lennon's signed lyrics for "Watchin The Wheels" donated by Yoko Ono.
