105.7 WROR Kicks-Off the Holiday Season with “Boston's Favorite Christmas Songs"
WROR celebrates the Holiday season by playing Boston's Favorite Christmas Songs all day and night through Christmas day (December 25th, 2008).
Artists include the classics by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Bing Crosby, U2, Andy Williams, Bruce Springsteen, The Ronettes, Nat King Cole, Stevie Wonder, John Mellencamp, Beach Boys, Mariah Carey, Dean Martin, Whitney Houston Elvis Presley, WROR’s Own Tom Doyle, and many more!
To kick off this momentous occasion, Santa Claus will call into the Loren and Wally Show at 5:30am this morning and officially launch the Christmas Season by endorsing 105.7 WROR as the station playing Boston’s Favorite Christmas Songs. In addition, Loren, Wally and Santa Claus will be driving around Boston today in a Red Jeep from Clark Chrysler Jeep in Methuen. The top will be off the Jeep and the WROR Morning Team will be spreading Christmas spirit by playing Boston’s Favorite Christmas Songs.
Beginning today, we'll link up to the North Pole from 5pm - 7pm weeknights and let kids call 617-931-1057 to talk to Santa!
"We received such an overwhelmingly positive response from our listeners in 2007 when we went all Christmas that we decided to bring it back again for 2008," said WROR Program Director Ken West. So, for the second year in a row, WROR 105.7 is the station for Boston’s Favorite Christmas Songs! This year’s Christmas line-up features Loren and Wally in the morning, Paul Perry in the afternoon, and Santa talking to kids each evening. In addition, the WROR Street Team, decked out as “Wally’s Angels”, will also be making appearances at community events throughout Massachusetts.
