Greater Media Detroit is looking for a part time producer for its weekend show Hire It Done. The show airs on WRIF/101.1 Saturday mornings and WMGC/105.1 on Sunday mornings. Requirements for this position: · Keep talent organized and on schedule · Participate in the show’s planning process · Responsible for finalization of the show’s prep sheet · Maintain a weekly planner · Pull audio for the show, sound bites, etc.. · Keep updated lists of regular callers, celebrities, experts · Line up guests for the show · Coordinate appearances with promotion/marketing/sales manager · Serve as a liaison with all other departments including legal and risk management · Direct talent through the game plan during the show (time to move on, breaks, etc...) · Set up and screen phone calls during the show · Run the board · Produce drop-ins, beds, “best of” shows · Be well versed with FCC compliance guidelines Previous radio experience is a must.
