Her attitude and enthusiasm make everyone feel confident that the job will get done right. Since joining Greater Media Charlotte just two years ago, she has quickly become the go-to person. She brings creativity to her designs that help paint the visual picture of what we do every day on the air.
She is also a professional photographer, whose skills can come in very handy for our professional staff. Amelia is also an active participant in station events. You may find her updating the website and social media, setting up at an event, or managing our Event Team.
Every day, Amelia is helping make WBT AM/FM and WLNK-FM, Greater Media Charlotte, greater.

Radio veteran returns to WBT AM/FM and WLNK-FM to lead sales team
Greater Media announces Sandr a Szoke has been named Director of Sales at WBT AM/FM and WLNK-FM in Charlotte. She will officially begin her new position on January 27, 2014.
Szoke most recently served as the Local Sales Manager at Time Warner Cable in Charlotte. Previous to that, she worked as a Senior Account Executive, Assistant Director of Business Development /Marketing and Public Affairs Director when Lincoln Financial/Jefferson Pilot owned WBT-AM/FM and WLNK-FM prior to Greater Media purchasing the stations back in 2008.

“I’m humbled and grateful for the opportunity to lead such an accomplished team of professionals,” said Szoke. “I’m equally excited to represent Greater Media, WBT and WLNK in the community. Charlotte is filled with businesses that have grown and thrived by telling their stories on WBT and WLNK over the years. It’s an honor to represent these legendary stations alongside this talented staff.”
A recipient of numerous community awards, Szoke has served on several boards, including the Uptown Homeless Shelter, the Penny Pitch Children’s Charities, and advisory boards for the National Kidney Foundation and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Szoke received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and Music from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
