Digital Sales Specialist – Greater Media New Jersey


Greater Media New Jersey is looking for someone with a complete and deep understanding of digital assets and their best uses in the marketplace to address client advertiser’s marketing needs for our six radio stations. Not only station based assets such as display, landing pages, video, targeted e-mail marketing, but also audience extension tools like retargeting, SEO, listing and reputation management and social loyalty programs.

Essential Duties Include

  • The ability to ask CNA questions in client setting that will clarify needs, expectations, extend their understanding of digital marketing, and obtain an assignment that can be developed into an integrated solution presentation.
  • The ability to simplify and explain, in everyday business language, even the most complex aspects of a digital solution package.
  • Work closely with station key accounts and salespeople on “two legged” sales calls developing digital marketing solutions.
  • Work with sales team and other departments to assist in the creation of client proposals, presentations and media plans.
  • Prepare promotional plans, sales literature, and advertising proposals
  • Generating new leads, calling on inactive accounts, and maintaining an awareness of new digital business opportunities.
  • Responsible for meeting sales quotas monthly and quarterly.
  • Report to Greater Media New Jersey’s Digital Director and also work with station sales managers to meet required digital budgets.


Successful candidates must have a positive attitude and a drive to win. Be detail-oriented and work closely with other digital staff to guide the project through to a successful conclusion, meeting agreed- upon metrics of impressions, clicks, conversions or leads. Managing and exceeding expectations is a significant contributor to repeat business.

-          College graduate preferred

-          Prior experience in digital sales/marketing with consistent track record of success.

-          Must have basic knowledge of MS office products- primarily Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.

-          Must have basic knowledge of Google Analytics
