Traffic Manager – WCTC/WMGQctc_983

If so, we want to talk to you about being our next Traffic Manager!  This demanding position oversees revenue through management and scheduling of programming and commercial inventory for both WCTC and WMGQ.  The ideal candidate must be a critical thinker and problem solver and have the demonstrated ability to manage a diverse workload, and work effectively under pressure and deadlines.

Some of the essential duties and responsibilities of a Traffic Manager include:

  • Responsibility for all aspects of and creation for daily broadcast logs.
  • Format and maintain daily log of syndication network inventory and commercials.
  • Schedule all syndication, network and barter commercials requirements
  • Complete affidavits for all syndication, network and barter commercials requirements
  • Complete verification of log(s) to ensure accurate billing.
  • Communicate consistent change needs to Sales Management
  • Work with DOS and PD to build show format/show times and breaks to maximize inventory.

The Traffic Manager for WCTC and WMGQ must possess excellent communication skills; have the ability to work well with others in a sometimes stressful environment, and display solid judgment when making critical decisions.  It is imperative to have an excellent work ethic, be organized and detail oriented.  Knowledge of broadcast inventory management software is a plus (preferably Marketron).
