Greater Media Stations Take Top Honors at the Annual “Be Fabulous” Awards at DASH 3.0

The ceremony took place during the DASH 3.0 Conference on Wednesday, November 4th at the Westin Detroit Metropolitan Airport. The theme of this year’s two-day event was entitled “Radio & the Connected Car: A Survival Guide for Radio Broadcasters”.
Philadelphia’s Ben-FM took home the top honor for “Best Sales Approach” for the station’s “Mutt Madness” campaign, which encourages pet owners to celebrate their four–legged friends by uploading photos of their pets to the BEN FM site for chance to win prizes and spotlight their pet. The Mutt Madness campaign themes change throughout the year and is sponsored by Rafferty Subaru.
Charlotte’s WLNK-FM/The Link won in “Best Digital Promotion” category for the “Matt & Ramona Drive Time”, an exclusive web series on 107.9 The Link sponsored by Gastonia Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge. Each episode is approx. 2 minutes each and features the hosts real-life adventures/conversations in a new vehicle.
