Detroit Sports 105.1 Announces New Line Up in the Motor City

Detroit Sports 105.1 announces the addition of Sean Baligian and Drew Sharp to the Detroit Sports 105.1 on air line up.
Sean Baligian has been in the business since 1995, when he started his career at WSPD in Toledo. Along with hosting a Sports show, S
ean did football and basketball broadcasts for the Rockets. In 1998 he joined WJR on a part time basis, and was able to host a sports show, along with calling CCHA, and GLI hockey games. In 1999 Sean started at WDFN, and hosted the AM, Midday, afternoon, and PM drive shows, along with hosting College football, Lions Post game, and Icetime hockey shows.
In 2011, Sean started doing the afternoon show in Grand Rapids for ESPN 96.1. Sean has provided both play-by-play and Color for the Plymouth Whalers, and High School Hockey and Football for many years, and currently works with USA Hockey, and is in his 7th year as the Voice of Wayne State Football.
Drew Sharp has worked at the Free Press for more than 30 years. He was a Pistons Beat writer during their first two NBA championship seasons in 1989 and 1990 and covered Michigan State sports before becoming a general columnist in 1999. He’s regarded as one of the more hard-hitting, “let it like it is” columnists in the country. He wrote his first book three years ago: “Dave Bing: A Life of Challenge” on he Detroit mayor and former NBA Hall of Famer.
Detroit Sports 105.1 strives to bring Detroit the absolute best in Sports Talk Radio. This new lineup will begin immediately and does include the already existing ESPN’s Mike & Mike from 6am-8am and Ryan & Rico from 8am-12pm.
“This new line up is very exciting and we will continue bringing Detroit the most knowledgeable and most thought provoking talent in sports radio,” said Detroit Sports 105.1 Program Director Dave Shore.

- ESPN’s Mike & Mike, 6am-8am
- Ryan & Rico, 8am-12pm
- Sean Baligian, Tom Mazawey & Marc Fellhauer, 12pm-3pm
- Matt Dery & Drew Sharp, 3pm-7pm
