Greater Media Promotes Knight, Bryan and O’Brien at WJRZ-FM

Greater Media New Jersey is pleased to announce Matt Knight has been promoted to the position of program director

of WJRZ-FM. In addition, T. J. Bryan has been upped to assistant program Director and Bob O’Brien has been moved to the full-time PM drive slot on the station.

Knight has been serving as the Assistant Program Director of the Station since 2011. In addition to serving as program director of the station, he will continue in his current role hosting AM drive’s “Matt Knight in the Morning” program. The radio veteran is the former program director of Hit 106 in Monmouth-Ocean, New Jersey.

T. J. Bryan, a long-time radio veteran and former music director of WDHA-FM and program director of WHTG-FM, will continue with his midday show on 100.1 FM.

Bob O’Brien, who is moving into the full-time PM drive slot, has serving in a part-time capacity in addition to his regular weekend shifts at WJRZ-FM. In addition, he is a long-time radio veteran and author of eight music related books.

They replace radio veteran Glenn Kalina, who decided to step down at the end of 2014 as Program Director and PM drive personality of WJRZ-FM to pursue a new venture. Glenn has been in the radio business for the past 45 years and will continue to be involved at WJRZ-FM every Sunday as the co-host of the Beatles show, “From Us to You”.
