Local High School Choir Wins WROR-FM Contest to Sing on Stage with Foreigner

November 20, 2014

At every stop along their tour Foreigner works with a local radio station to conduct a contest to find a high school choir to sing “I Want to Know What Love Is” live on stage with them.

Each winning school receives a grant of $500, and additional funds are donated to the GRAMMY Foundation for music education programs. 105.7 WROR-FM hosted the Boston “I Want to Know What Love Is” contest, and after beating out their competition via online voting at wror.com, the “Juke Box Hero Fantasy” came true for Brockton High School.

The choir performed live in-studio with the Loren & Wally Morning Show and a few days later on June 19 took the stage with Foreigner at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion.
