Paul Mbiad – Greater Media Newspapers
October 31, 2014
Paul Mbiad started with Greater Media Newspapers in 2008 when the Circulation Department assumed the trucking process from an outside company for better management and operational control.
Paul remains on staff as one of the first three original CDL employee drivers. He makes the long haul from New Brunswick, NJ, to the printing facility in Rockaway, and after loading with product, to circulation depot points in Sayreville and Manalapan for carrier pickup.
He will also assist the circulation staff with staging papers for carrier pickup as needed. Paul does two such distribution runs each publication day of the week.
After owning his own trucking company for 22 years, Paul retired in 2006, but he couldn’t sit still for long and brought his level of experience and hard work to Greater Media. Paul is a dedicated worker, always ready to work no matter what the weather or traffic brings.
Every week at the end of his shift his co-workers always hear, “If you need me for anything, call me.” Paul has been married to his wife, Louisette, for 55 years. He has five children, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
