Greater Media Radio Named A Top Workplace in Philadelphia

March 21, 2014

Greater Media Radio in Philadelphia has been named of one the Top Workplaces in Philadelphia for the third consecutive year. The annual survey is conducted by The Philadelphia Inquirer, Daily News and Philly.com.  Hundreds of companies take part in the survey but only a select few companies are awarded top workplace.

Greater Media Philadelphia owns and operates four radio stations in the area: WMMR, WMGK, WBEN-FM and WPEN-FM. The radio stations entertain over two million listeners each week.

“Great companies start with great employees.” says John Fullam, VP/Market Manager for Greater Media Philadelphia.  “We are fortunate to have such an extraordinary team dedicated to serving Philadelphia, our listeners and advertising partners everyday.”

This survey is unique in that the judges are the employees.  The evaluation for the “Top Workplaces” program is based entirely upon feedback from an employee survey conducted by Workplace Dynamics in the fall of 2013.  The Philadelphia Inquirer will run a special publication insert this Sunday, March 23rd to announce this honor.

The special “Top Workplace edition” features employee nominated companies, honoring those companies who are getting it right and distinguishing them from other companies.
