DeBella & WMGK Help Provide Troops With Trees

December 7, 2013

The holidays are all about family members getting together and celebrating. Unfortunately, families with a member serving active duty in our country’s military aren’t able to enjoy their loved one’s company during this joyous season. 102.9 WMGK-FM, Arasapha Farms and Mealey’s Furniture want to make the holidays a little brighter for active duty families in the Philadelphia area by providing them with a free Christmas tree. Starting today, anyone with a family member actively serving in our countries armed services can go to to obtain information on how to receive a free Christmas tree. “Having a family member away for Christmas is hard enough. Let’s make Christmas a little easier on these families”, said DeBella. Arasapha Farms will be providing the free Christmas trees and Mealey’s Furniture in Warminster, PA will be hosting the tree pickup.

Active duty families will be able to pick up their free tree on Saturday, December 14 from 11am to 1pm at Mealey’s Furniture (908 W Street Rd Warminster, PA 18974) in Warminster, PA. WMGK asks that only those that have received a confirmation email or phone call from WMGK show up on December 14. If a family has submitted a request but has not received a confirmation phone call or email, they should not attend.

Arasapha Farms is proud to present The Arasapha Farms Holiday Hayride. This heartwarming attraction includes a delightful ride on one of their sound equipped hay wagons, through the rolling hills of Arasapha Farm, which has been transformed into a winter wonderland filled with huge light displays, decorated trees and buildings, bridges and brooks. Attendees can also meet live reindeer, get their picture taken with Santa & choose from beautiful fresh cut Christmas trees.

In addition to hosting John DeBella’s Trees for Troops, Mealey’s Furniture is involved in another charitable endeavor this holiday season, Mealey’s Houseful of Furniture giveaway. Each year Mealey’s Furniture gives 3 rooms of free furniture to a local family in special need. Those interested in receiving more information can go to or go to a Mealey’s Furniture Showroom.
