Bello, Oz Speak at WBEN Luncheon

Two famous women with local roots, actor/activist Maria Bello and author/radio host, Lisa Oz will be the keynote speakers at the invitation only, 4th Annual 95.7 BEN-FM Woman of the Week Luncheon  April 4 at 11:30am at Drexelbrook (4700 Drexelbrook Drive, Drexel Hill, PA 19026). Bello grew up in the Conshohocken area and majored in Peace and Justice Education at Villanova University. Oz was born in Philadelphia and received her undergraduate degree from Bryn Mawr College. Bello will be speaking about the work We Advance, the non-governmental organization (NGO) she founded, is doing in Haiti. Oz will be discussing the subject of well-being and relationships. The luncheon will be hosted by BEN-FM’s morning host Marilyn Russell. Russell also hosts BEN’s weekly Woman of the Week radio program on Sunday mornings at 7:30am.

The Luncheon will play host to host hundreds of women including CEO’s, movers and shakers in art and culture, directors of non-profit organizations, superstars of the blogosphere as well as BEN-FM listeners who won passes to the event. Throughout the luncheon awards will be presented in various categories including the BEN-FM “Queen of the Scene Award”, the Cancer Treatment Centers of America “Woman Who Never Quits Award” the PECO “Woman who Empowers Us” Award and more. Cancer Treatment Centers of America and PECO and are the main sponsors of this year’s Luncheon.
