Charlotte’s Holiday on Ice Construction Breaks Ground

November 16, 2012

Charlotte’s Only Outdoor Ice Rink! Holiday on Ice is everyone’s favorite Holiday tradition and it returns to Uptown Charlotte at The Plaza at the Nascar Hall of Fame.  Skating under the stars just got better with more than 7000 square feet of ice and an incredible view of the city skyline.  Skate, drink hot chocolate and celebrate the holidays with us, the best way to bring families together this season.  Skating will cost $9.00 per person and $3.00 for skate rental.  Season passes are also available.  Group events for outings, birthday parties, holiday parties or friendly get-togethers may be eligible for discounts.

Outdoor ice skating this year is made possible from our friends at Piedmont Natural Gas and Time Warner Cable. The rink opens to the public at 10:00 am, Wednesday, November 21st.  Daily hours located www.wbt.com/holidayonice/hours

Holiday on Ice celebrates its 9th year for the great holiday tradition.  The Plaza at the Nascar Hall of Fame is located at 400 E. Martin Luther King Blvd., at the corner of Brevard St. Media parking is available on Brevard St., directly in front of the Nascar Hall of Fame. As part of our partnership with the Nascar Hall of Fame, look for a special dual access ticket that provides admission to the Hall and ice skating for just $20.   www.wbt.com/holidayonice/tickets
