WBT’s Larson Rides To Help Families

September 18, 2012

Hundreds of motorcycle riders showed up to ride to help families of children battling cancer and other serious illnesses in WBT’s Keith Larson’s Ride 10 this past April 28th. This year the Ride culminated in a “Street Festival” open to the public in Downtown Waxhaw, NC featuring live music, great food, and free fun for kids.

“This is our tenth charity ride and it coincides with my tenth anniversary here at WBT and it seemed like a great time to go ‘Back to Waxhaw’, my adopted hometown, where we went on the very first motorcycle ride,” Larson said. “The Street Festival is a way to celebrate, and help more kids and families, with an event open to everyone.”

The Ride and street festival proceeds support the March Forth with Hope Foundation and Zach Ramsey Children’s Cancer Fund, as well as specific local families and kids in need.
