August 29, 2012

97.5 The Fanatic announces NBA Hall of Famer and Philadelphia Legend Charles Barkley will co-host The Mike Missanelli Show this Wednesday, August 29th, from 2 to 6pm. Sir Charles is always a fun and lively guest; having him in the studio for four hours should make for a show you won’t want to miss.

This is the second time Barkley has joined Missanelli to co-host his entire four hour show. You can listen to selections of that broadcast on August 10th, 2011, here.

Charles Barkley spent 16 seasons in the NBA, the first 8 of which were with the Philadelphia 76ers. He was the league MVP in 1993, and ended his career with 11 NBA All-Star appearances. Barkley was also named to the NBA’s 50th Anniversary All-Time Team, and has had his number 34 retired by both the 76ers and the Phoenix Suns.

Now you can catch Charles as one of the hosts of TNT’s NBA coverage with Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson.
