Barry Scott’s popular show “The Lost 45′s” will premiere on Greater Media Boston’s WROR-FM Sunday, September 2nd from 7-10PM. Scott was on WODS-FM in Boston for 11 years until CBS changed formats earlier this year. “Boston radio listeners told us they wanted The Lost 45s and we heard them loud and clear. Barry Scott’s show is all about music and fun. His long-running show will add even more fun to our lineup,” said WROR PD Ken West.
His radio career started at age 5 in his bedroom, announcing records, news and weather. “The Lost 45s with Barry Scott” began at Emerson College in 1981. “The Lost 45s” is America’s largest classic hits music & interview library featuring charted records which no longer receive adequate airplay,” said Scott. His desire is to keep these songs and performers alive. The Lost 45s” has a library of over 800 exclusive recording artist interviews.
