Former Eagle Joins 97.5 The Fanatic Football Coverage

97.5 The Fanatic announces former Philadelphia Eagles Safety Brian Dawkins has been added to the station’s on air football coverage. Dawkins will be a regular football contributor on 97.5 The Fanatic’s “Football Fridays” at 4:10PM with Mike Missanelli. One of the most beloved Eagles of all time, Brian Dawkins will help preview the game coming up each weekend and talk about everything surrounding the Philadelphia Eagles.
Brian Dawkins is no doubt one of the best players to ever put on an Eagles uniform. In his 16 years in the NFL (13 with Philadelphia), Dawkins was a four time All-Pro Safety who ended his career with 26 sacks and 37 interceptions. After his retirement at the end of the 2011 season, the Philadelphia Eagles announced they will be retiring his number 20.
“There is no one that Eagle fans love and relate to more than Brian Dawkins,” says 97.5 The Fanatic Program Director Matt Nahigian. “We had him on our air about a month ago and the response we received via Twitter and Facebook about wanting to hear him each week was staggering.
