WRIF Hosts Mud Volleyball

101 WRIF is hosting Mud, Sweat and Beers Mud Volleyball Tournament on Sunday, July 15th at Heritage Park in Taylor, Michigan. (12111 Pardee Road, between Goddard & Northline Roads) Thirty-six (36) teams will compete in a dirty competition to score bragging rights as the WRIF Mud Champions! Plus, there will be a Best Dressed Team contest.

Don’t want to get dirty? No problem! There will still be plenty to see and do. WRIF’s Steve Black and Hightower will be broadcasting live all day. There will be live music from Under the Covers, photos with Juliet the WRIF Rock Girl, games and more.

Gates open at 8:00 a.m. Beer and food will be served from 9:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. This event is FREE to the public and open to all ages. Lawn chairs are welcomed. No outside food or beverages, coolers, tents or grills.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Penrickton Center for Blind Children. Penrickton Center for Blind Children is a unique, private non-profit agency, providing five-day residential, day care, and consultation/evaluation services to blind, multi-disabled children ages 1-12. Participants of WRIF’s Mud, Sweat and Beers will care for the kids at Penrickton Center for Blind Children by replacing the safety surface on their playground.
