The Fisher House Radio-thon will feature stories from the Fisher House of recovering residents and their families. Michael Graham, a lead advocate for Fisher House Boston says, “The brave men and women are coming home from Iraq this year, but the injuries they’ve endured will last a lifetime.” He adds, “They need and deserve a place like Fisher House when they come to West Roxbury for treatment. The best way to say “We’ll never forget your service” is to support Fisher House now and in the future.”
Funds raised from the 4th Annual Radio-thon will benefit the Fisher House. Fisher Houses enables family members to be close to their loved ones during hospitalization and gives them a safe, comfortable, home-like environment, making it easier for them to participate in the care and recovery of their loved ones.
“We appreciate all that WTKK and Michael Graham have done for Fisher House. Michael helped bring a Fisher House to Boston and is now helping us to support not only that house, but bless the next community in need,” said Kenneth Fisher. “He is a true friend of everyone who serves and has served. We share a tremendous respect for our service members and their families. We are humbled by the tremendous generosity of WTKK listeners.”
Michael Graham can now be heard daily on 96.9 Boston Talks, WTKK-FM from 3PM-7PM.
