Breast Cancer Survivors Featured on Billboards

October 10, 2011

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. That’s why Magic 105.1 (WMGC-FM) is saluting Metro Detroit breast cancer survivors. All survivors are invited to be part of several upcoming photo shoots. Every survivor who is photographed will get a limited edition Magic 105.1 pink wristband (while supplies last). Survivors’ photos will rotate on digital billboards throughout the Metro Detroit area as part of Magic’s Pink Ribbon Challenge.

Breast cancer survivors are invited to any of the following photo sessions:

Friday, Oct 7 from 3pm-4pm at HealthPlus, 101 W. Big Beaver Rd, Suite 1400, in Troy.

Monday, Oct 10 from 6pm-7pm at Hungry Howie’s Pizza, 29042 Utica Rd., in Roseville.

Thursday, Oct 13 from 7pm-8pm at Gordon Chevrolet, 31850 Ford Rd., in Garden City.

And everyone can help fight breast cancer by going to www.detroitmagic.com and clicking onto the Pink Ribbon Challenge, giving FREE mammograms to needy women! We’re aiming to get 105,000 clicks, so click on the Pink Ribbon Challenge and send the link to family and friends. If we reach that goal of 105,000 clicks, Jim Harper of Jim Harper in the Morning will wear a pink bra throughout a future show and listeners will be able to watch live via webcam!

Press welcomed at photo shoot events.
