Smyth to Speak at Suffolk Business School Commencement

Peter SmythRadio Executive to Receive Honorary Doctor of Commerce degree

Peter H. Smyth, chairman and chief executive officer of Greater Media, Inc., will speak at the Suffolk University Sawyer Business School graduate student commencement at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 21,2011 at the Westin Copley Hotel in Boston, MA.

In addition, The College of Arts and Sciences and Sawyer Business School will award Smyth an Honorary Doctor of Commerce degree.

Smyth oversees a leading broadcasting company that includes 23 AM and FM radio stations in Boston, Charlotte, Detroit, Philadelphia and New Jersey. His innovative leadership has been widely recognized in the industry with multiple awards and honors.

Other 2011 Suffolk University commencement speakers include CBS “Early Show” News Anchor Jeff Glor, Police and Security Expert Bill Bratton and Television Legal Analyst Rikki Klieman.
