NECN and 96.9 Boston Talks Announce AM Simulcast

Starting April 18, WTKK to Simulcast NECN’s First Thing in the Morning and
NECN Morning As Lead-in to Jim and Margery Show

BOSTON AND NEWTON, MA – NECN, New England’s News Station, has prepped viewers with the latest news, weather, traffic and sports for the past 18 years and beginning Monday, April 18, 96.9 Boston Talks, the city’s top destination to discuss the day’s major local and national news happenings, will simulcast an hour and a half of NECN’s morning news programming.

Jim and Margery, 96.9 Boston Talks’ popular morning show featuring Jim Braude and Margery Eagan, continues at 6:00 a.m. As a lead-in, simulcasting of NECN’s First Thing in the Morning will begin each day from 4:30 to 5:00 a.m. and a full hour of NECN Morning will follow from 5 to 6:00 a.m.

NECN’s morning news is anchored by Kristy Lee, Erick Weber and features Meteorologist Danielle Niles. NECN’s coverage will include up-to-the-minute information on the latest news, weather, traffic, sports and live reports from the field on the major stories of the day.
