WCTC 1450 AM Embraces Its Talk Radio Roots

Radio Station’s New On-Air Line-Up Includes Jack Ellery, Laura Ingraham, Bert Baron, Mancow & Alan Colmes

Greater Media announces WCTC 1450 AM has officially launched  the Voice of Central Jersey with a complete, full-service talk show line-up featuring some of the biggest talk radio names in New Jersey and the nation.

The station’s new talk radio programming format is centered around local and legendary Talk Radio Personality Jack Ellery, who hosts the Morning Show from 6am – 10am.  Ellery has been providing his provocative brand of talk on WCTC for most of the past 50 years, focusing on the issues that affect Central Jerseyans.

The line-up also features the WCTC debut of three of the most successful talk show hosts in the nation. The top rated Laura Ingraham Show can be heard from 10am-1pm, followed by The Mancow Experience airing from 3-7pm, and the Alan Colmes Show from 10pm to 1am.

Rounding out the new line-up is “New Jersey Today” from 1pm - 3pm, hosted by WCTC Program Director Bert Baron.  The show focuses on the top stories of the day in New Jersey, whether it’s legislation in Trenton or an entertainment event in New Brunswick’s theater district.

Throughout the day, WCTC News, headed up by long-time News Director Bruce Johnson, will continue to provide its outstanding coverage of the latest in Central Jersey and state news.

In addition, the station will offer the most comprehensive sports play-by-play coverage anywhere in New Jersey.  The station’s new line-up also includes Rutgers University football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball, Somerset Patriots’ baseball and the Central Jersey High School Football and Basketball Games of the Week.
