Marketron, the leading provider of business software solutions and services for the media industry, today announced its renewed and expanded relationship with Greater Media, the parent company of radio stations, weekly newspapers and telecommunications towers throughout the U.S.
Greater Media will replace its current traffic and billing system in its four largest markets with Mediascape, an open technology platform, traffic solution and services that drive new revenue, efficiency and improved performance across multiple mediums.

WBT and NASCAR Hall of Fame will host a Ribbon Cutting to celebrate the NEW LOCATION, LARGER ICE RINK, and GRAND OPENING as Holiday on Ice kicks off the 2011 season! Brief remarks will be made by WBT’s Trip Savery and NASCAR Hall of Fame’s Winston Kelly, hosted by WBT’s Weekday Host Keith Larson. After the ribbon is cut, Charlotte Checker’s mascot Chubby Checker will lead more than 50 skaters onto the ice for the first time this season. Light food will be served. The rink opens to the public at 5:00pm, Tuesday, November 22nd
The ceremony will begin at 4pm. Media parking is available on Brevard Street, near MLK Blvd, in front of the NASCAR Hall of Fame Plaza.
WBT’s Holiday on Ice is everyone’s favorite holiday tradition and it returns to Uptown Charlotte with a new location on Ceremonial Plaza at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. The Ice Rink is more than 30% larger this year with more than 7000 square feet of ice and an incredible view of the city skyline. Open this week as follows: Tuesday, 11/22 – 5pm-10pm, Wednesday through Saturday (including Thanksgiving Day) 10am-10pm, and Sunday, 11/27 11am – 7pm.
